composition and wood body signed Germany. Gorgeous blue
sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes,
multi-stroke brows, open mouth with four upper teeth,
dimpled chin, lovely quality blond mohair wig. Dressed
in a very pretty factory original antique red and cream
cotton dress with lace trim, floral red white and green
waist band. Antique lace edged half slip and pantaloons,
cream cotton knit socks and cream oilcloth shoes, pretty
bows on her dress and in her hair. |

CONDITION: The faintest hairline on the upper right forehead and
one wig pull at the upper crown rim. Otherwise, she has lovely
bisque with expert painting of features, very crisp modeling,
pleasant color, sweet expression. The body in fine, shiny
original condition with only minor wear at the neck socket of
the torso. A beautiful Kestner, this is an uncommon mold with a
sweet chubby face and the look of a younger child. A really cute
cabinet sized German dolly!! |

rows of very fine pin tucks and open strips of
embroidered panels, self ruffled hem, lace edged collar
and sleeves, pink sash and matching hair bow, antique
lace edged underwear, black knit socks and black antique
oilcloth shoes with curved soles. |

CONDITION: Excellent. Lovely glowing bisque with expert and
delicate painting of features, crisp modeling, pleasant
coloring. One teeny flake at the right ear pierce hole. The
original body with original finish and in very good condition
with typical age wear and both hands are repainted and one
finger repaired. A very pretty girl as sweet as they come!! |

has an angelic face! The original body in original finish
condition with hardly any age wear with both hands in perfect
condition. This is one of the prettiest Simon & Halbig molds!! A
real Angel!!!!! |

bisque shoulder-plate on a pin jointed kidskin body with bisque
lower arms, composition lower legs. Lovely, warm brown
paperweight eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, finely
feathered brows, closed mouth with shading and accent lines and
white area between lips (possibly to indicate teeth), full
cheeks, pierced ears with antique bead earrings, lovely full
blond mohair wig. Dressed in an extraordinary pink antique
cotton gauze two piece dress with three rows of self ruffles on
the skirt, tatted edges, bell shaped sleeves on fitted jacket
with large self bow in the rear (some wear to the fabric in
inconspicuous areas and the long sleeves have been pinned up to
allow her arms to show), antique half slip with elaborate
embroidery, black net socks and original black cloth shoes with
metal buckles, antique black fashion hat bedecked with cloth
flowers. |

CONDITION: Excellent. Very fine quality bisque with pale
coloring, expert decoration of features and very crisp modeling
of attractive and sweet face probably meant to copy the early
French Portrait Jumeau. The body in good condition with some
typical age wear and a patch to the left side of the left upper
thigh. Dating from the early 1880s and made for the French
market. Very nice petite example of this Belton type closed
mouth doll! Her chubby cheeks and imploring paperweight eyes are
quite compelling!! Her wonderful antique fashion gown will be
the subject of much admiration! |

CONDITION: Excellent! Beautifully executed head with fine pale
bisque, expert painting of delicate features and superior
modeling of with a strong resemblance to the Bru Jne doll of the
same era (circa 1885). A surface chip on the upper rear crown.
The kid body has some typical patches. Both bisque lower arms
are in excellent condition. I just can’t get enough of her sweet
face. |
