painted lower lashes, multi stroked feathered brows,
open mouth four upper teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears
with antique opalescent blue earrings, honey blond long
tail mohair wig. Dressed in an antique white cotton
windowpane pattern dress with dropped pleated waist,
angled front panel with buttons embroidered accents
throughout, cream colored full slip, white cotton
pantaloons, antique cream knit silk socks, newer white
leather shoes with metal buckles, lovely vintage straw
hat.

pleasant color, very crisp and deep modeling of lovely face with
expert painting of features. The original French chunky body in
fine condition with just some typical minor age wear and age

red and cream paisley print cotton dress
with red edge trim and nice border panel at
the hem, navy sash, antique full slip,
antique rayon socks and antique tan leather
shoes with metal snaps, lovely antique straw
hat with cloth flowers and navy edge trim. |

CONDITION: Excellent. Fine quality, evenly fired rich medium
brown bisque with expert painting of features, very crisp
earlier long face modeling, brown eyes with distinct pupils,
sweet wondrous expression. A small rub next to the inside of the
left eye has been touched up. The original Kestner body with the
original shiny brown color is in pristine original condition but
one hand has two broken fingers—so I am giving her a replacement
antique had painted to match (you get both hands). Black
Kestners are rare and early ones are even harder to find. This
Gem is indeed a unique find!!! |

linen striped shirt with MOP buttons, antique pink
overalls with gray buttons and plaid patches,
multicolored striped socks, wonderful Jumeau style
reproduction brown leather shoes and a jaunty large
straw hat with metal grommets and striped bans and metal
buckle with 2 original labels. |

CONDITION: Generally Excellent. Fine quality evenly fired bisque
with deep character modeling, realistic smiling eyes and mouth.
A small inherent flat area on the left cheek is barely
noticeable. Original body finish in good condition with just
minor flaking and age wear at the joint areas. This is a
charming character boy with so much joyful appeal in the RARE
brown version!!!! I have only ever had two other ones like this
in my twenty-two years of doll dealing. What a charming country
boy! |

lined in gauze, original antique underwear, antique
cream socks and antique black and tan leather lace-up
shoes with curved soles, lovely antique pale pink

quality very pale and powdery bisque, pleasantly
blushed cheek color, expert painting of delicate
features, crisp modeling of chubby angelic face with
a hint of a smile. The original body in very good
condition but for some minor flaking at the
fingertips and joints. This doll has a subtle, shy
beauty that sneaks up on you and plucks at your
heartstrings! I am really captivated by her
wonderful quality of bisque and presentation. A
WINNER!!!!!! |
