antique coral branch earrings, antique dark blond mohair
wig. Wearing a wonderful original maroon cotton dress
with cream ribbon and lace at the bib, hem and sleeves,
antique original cotton underwear, antique tan socks and
antique French black leather shoes with metal buckles
impressed 10 on the soles, wonderful antique French lacy
bonnet. She also wear an antique enamel and brass bar
pin marked BEBE on her dress. |

CONDITION: Generally Excellent. The gorgeous head with wonderful
creamy and smooth bisque, pale color, expert painting of
delicate features, crisp modeling of very sweet face. There is a
short firing line from the cleft crown rim to the upper left ear
and very minor rub to the tip of her nose. Original spring in
head. The original body in good original finish condition with
just some minor and typical age wear. This is a very sweet and
shy bebe with those exquisite Jumeau eyes and superb original
antique costume. She would look perfect in a wintry setting or
under a Christmas tree. |

brown flirty eyes that move from side to side, string
upper and painted lower lashes, molded and feathered
brows, open mouth with four upper teeth, deeply dimpled
chin, pierced ears, fine quality light blond mohair wig.
Dressed in her fabulous all original pink cotton frock
with white cotton lace collar, original lace edged
underwear original navy net socks and original black
leather shoes with metal buckle (one buckle missing),
pretty newer pink bonnet with cream lace and applied

CONDITION: Excellent! Gorgeous, bisque with expert painting of
features and crisp modeling of very endearing face with smooth
black color. Cold painted lips with minor touch-up and tiny
white rub on cheek touched up. The modeling of the black
features is wonderful including the hint of two dimples at the
sides of her nose. The original body in good condition with
original finish (the turned wood upper arms and thighs with matt
finish). One finger is chipped. This beautiful, black S & H
character has a tender presence with a shy expression! An
outstanding and extremely rare example by this revered German
firm!! |

CONDITION: Excellent. Fine quality powdery bisque with expert
and delicate painting of features, crisp modeling of very lovely
and sweet face, gentle color. There is an inherent tiny pinhead
bubble pit on the forehead that has been filled in. The original
body in excellent condition with only very minor age wear at
joints and around the neck socket. The doll markedly resembles
the Jumeau Portrait bebe and was produced at about the same
time. Gebruder Kuhnlens also copied the Bru bebes of the same
era. A very pretty face! |
