Here is an absolutely gorgeous French TETE JUMEAU Bebe antique doll on her original French fully jointed body with pull string crier. Bisque socket head on a fully jointed and original Jumeau French composition and wood body with original blue Bebe Jumeau stamp on the rear torso and jointed wrists. Lovely blue paperweight eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, multi stroke brows, closed mouth with shading and accents, pierced ears with antique earrings, blond mohair wig over original cork pate. Wearing a lovely antique cream wool dress with lace trim, tiny floral print, and embroidered feather stitched accents at the bodice and cuffs, tucking at the dropped waist, original antique white and blue cotton print factory chemise with lace edge, pink net socks, antique faux patterned leather brown shoes with single straps and self bows, lovely ombre rose ribbon flower in her hair and finished off with a superb antique French enameled BEBE pin on her dress. What a lovely presentation worthy of this superb French bebe! cream cotton socks, black leather shoes with impressed clover mark, pretty wired cotton and lace bonnet with applied flowers and antique gold front bar pin on her dress.

CONDITION: Excellent! Super fine quality pale bisque head with expert painting of features, crisp modeling of sweet face, pleasant cheek color. The original body in original finish condition but there is a repair to the right side of the torso where some collapsing had occurred due to the stand cinch squeezing the torso. The front of the torso has a removable section that was used to insert the crier, which is still operable by two pull strings. This is a factory cut and though it is not common, it is original to this doll. This is a truly lovely Jumeau bebe from France. I never cease to fall in love with these French beauties! And this one is really exceptional!! This is a very sweet and shy bebe with those exquisite Jumeau eyes and superb original antique costume. She would look perfect in a wintry setting or under a Christmas tree.

Bisque socket head on a fully jointed composition and wood body. Blue sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, multi stroked and stacked brows, open mouth with four upper teeth and characteristic lower lip mark, dimpled chin, pierced ears with antique bead earrings, very pretty antique blond mohair wig. Dressed in an antique pink cotton dress with ruffled sleeve caps, dropped waist with bouffant bodice, lace at the cuffs collar and wings, antique cotton underwear with eyelet lace, antique pale pink stockings and antique black leather single strap shoes (worn), pretty pink bow in her hair.

CONDITION: Excellent. A very lovely bisque head with fine quality pale bisque, very crisp and deep modeling of lovely and desirable Santa features expert painting and glowing color. She has an angelic face! The original body in original finish condition with typical age wear with both hands repainted. This is one of the prettiest Simon & Halbig molds!! A real Angel!!!!!

Paris Bebe by Jumeau

Bisque socket head on a fully jointed Jumeau body with jointed wrists. Beautiful blue paperweight eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with shading and accents, pierced ears, antique blond mohair wig. Dressed in a wonderful antique wool sailor ensemble consisting of a cream top with brass buttons, square navy collar with navy stripes on collar and cuffs and a navy skirt, white cotton pantaloons and slip, antique cream socks, antique cream leather shoes, vintage navy straw hat with flowers.

CONDITION: Generally good. Chips to both ear pierce holes, there is also a crack from the upper right crown rim descending to the upper right eye cut. Otherwise she is a lovely example of the desirable and rare Paris Bebe by Jumeau! The Jumeau body is in good original finish condition, but showing age wear with flaking of paint to some areas and repainting to both hands which have experienced typical flaking as well. The neck socket of the torso has had some repair as well as one of the shoulder sockets. She has a commanding presence and a wonderful sailor costume. One would normally expect to pay around $7500 to $8000 for this doll when perfect. Here is an opportunity to get her for less due to her condition..

13.5" Barrois Fashion Poupee Peau with Bisque Arms

Pressed bisque shoulder-head on a straight limbed kidskin body original bisque arms. Gorgeous blue almond shaped glass inset eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, pale multi stroked arching brows, closed full mouth with shading and accents, lovely auburn mohair wig. Dressed in an outstanding recently made couture fashion two piece dress consisting of an olive green silk walking two piece suit with brown trim, wonderful checked ribbon trim and green velvet bows, original antique underwear, old fashioned straw hat with feathers, original tans stockings and antique black leather shoes with metal buckles.

MARKS: (no visible marks- but marks may be hidden under the kidskin covering of the shoulderplate)

CONDITION: Excellent. Gorgeous pressed very pale bisque head with lovely blush on cheeks, delicate painting of features and crisp modeling of very attractive square shaped face (typical of early Barrois heads) with a hint of a tender smile. The original body in good sturdy condition and wonderfully modeled bisque hands (one with restoration. A very chic little lady!

Gorgeous blue almond shaped glass inset eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, pale multi stroked arching brows, closed mouth with shading and accents, gorgeous and fabulous blond mohair wig with elaborate braiding and curling. Dressed in an original antique fashion two piece dress consisting of an black silk long jacket with elaborately trimmed on the front panel, cream silk skirt (shredding), antique cotton underwear with eyelet embroidery edge original socks antique black leather shoes with metal buckles (wear to one of the shoes), faux pearl necklace with lovely antique cut stone pendant. She also has a lovely tan wool coat with brown edge, collar and cuffs, silver buttons, brown piping and small lace edging to the top of the collar (some holes and two buttons missing.
