antique light teal wool and silk dress with
featherstitched hem, applied lace to chest and lovely
blue gross grain silk to upper bodice, collar and sleeve
wings, mutton sleeves, lined bodice, hook and eye
closures, original antique lace edged underwear,
original cream knit socks, original antique cream
leather shoes with metal buckles, vintage signed “Hattie

CONDITION: Excellent. Finest quality smooth flawless bisque with
gentle color, delicate painting of lovely features, crisp
modeling of very sweet face with innocent expression. There are
some very minor wig pulls to the back of the head near incised
mark (see photo), The original body in good condition with an
excellent repaint and re-varnish. A very pretty big girl. Her
originality makes her quite desirable! She is sure to please!!!! |

CONDITION: Excellent. Fine quality bisque, expert and delicate
painting of features, softer modeling of unique character face
with large expressive eyes and small mouth, pleasant blushing.
One pepper speck looks like a beauty mark on the right cheek.
The fully jointed body in excellent original finish condition
with very minimal age wear. The Gebruder Heubach factory is well
known for its wonderful character children. Their heads
generally have a more lifelike appearance. The antique costuming
of this doll certainly embellishes the character face and
recalls earlier times! An endearing character with lots of
nostalgic appeal. This Gebruder Heubach will add interest to any
collection of German character dolls! |

stringing holes on top on a fully jointed composition
and wood Sonneberg type body with straight wrists.
Pretty large blue fixed eyes with painted upper and
lower lashes, multi stroke and feathered brows, closed
mouth with accented lips, pierced-in ears, lovely blond
mohair wig. Dressed in a very pretty Factory original
red and cream cotton dress with cream lace trim, antique
cotton lace edged full slip (some mending necessary),
antique cotton knit tube socks, original black leather
high button boots, red hat with cream pompom and red
feathers. |

CONDITION: Generally Excellent. Fine quality very pale
bisque, expert fine decoration of features and very crisp
modeling of attractive face to emulate the French Steiner
bebe. There are several wig pulls under the wig and a couple
of minor isolated specks (see photos). The original body in
good condition with a well matched replaced antique upper
left arm. A very sweet Belton child with the sweetest shy
expression and an outstanding factory dress. WOW! Tuck her
in a little corner of your heart! |

Bisque swivel flange head (one side being white and he
other side being ebony with black features) on a cloth
and composition body with composition bonnet, shoulder
plate, composition arms with straight wrists and lower
legs, torso and upper legs of cloth with torso having
cardboard interior. Black mohair wig in short stubby
braids and parted in the middle attached to upper
bonnet. When the face is manually rotated one of two
different faces is revealed. A smiling white face with
open closed mouth and molded teeth, brown paperweight
eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, multi stroke
brown brows and dimpled chin. The black face with ethnic
features is fired ebony bisque with open mouth having
larger rose colored lips and inserted teeth, brown
paperweight eyes, black painted brows. Dressed in her
original antique black and white checked dress with lace
trimmed slip and pantaloons, pretty faded red straw
bonnet with flower, sewn on original black moccasins. |

mohair wig. Dressed in a very beautiful white cotton
dress with fancy diagonal tucks and scalloped embroidery
trim, elaborately hand embroidered, scalloped hem ,
antique full slip with double feather stitching at the
hem, cream socks, black patent leather-type shoes,
vintage straw hat with ribbon & flower trim, lovely
antique bar pin with gold front and engraved design on
her dress. |

CONDITION: Excellent. Fine quality bisque with gentle color,
delicate painting of lovely character features, crisp modeling
of very sweet face with innocent, endearing expression. The
original body in good original finish condition with some signs
of age and touch ups, the hands are repainted and there is a
repair to the right shoulder. Wow! What a beauty! The pure look
of innocence straight from Heaven! This is one of the most
desirable of all the German characters and it is not difficult
to understand why. The 117A has the wider face than the 117 and
this gives her a more childish appearance. AND how often have
you seen this incredible beauty in such a large size? If you
don’t have one of these adorable pouty children in your
collection—This is the ONE to get! WOW! |
